However the gameplay is morbidly bad. If you shake just one of them, you turn in the opposite direction. I am somewhat stunned at the high-rated reviews for this game. This is done by shaking your wii remote and nunchuck. You'll know, quickly, whether this game is your thing or not. So bad that all of people that I personally know to have played this game hated it almost immediately.I love Mario Kart, but had played it to a point that it wasn't as entertaining anymore. If you lift them up, you jump.
you have to constantly shake your controls the entire time you play this game. On most technical levels this game is fine -- and typical of the wii. If this preposterous novelty doesn't immediately dissuade you from playing the game, consider this. This game -- at its core -- is also a racing game made by Nintendo, so I thought it might be an interesting supplement to Mario Kart.In this game, you fly a weird bongo contraption by banging on the drums. If you shake them both, you accelerate. It requires more coordination and effort than other racing games -- and you will be punished for this effort with much less control over your "vehicle" than in a game that uses a more traditional set of controls. If you are still interested, I highly recommend that you rent it at Blockbuster (or some other rental service) before you buy it. I would guess that most people will hate it, and those that like it will tire of its novelty soon enough and seek out a better racing game.
I haven't played with 4 people yet.and that is sometimes confusing with the limited space but can't wait to try.We never have a quiet game. I'm married and we have a blast playing this. Look. It really is fun. It's a race and if you have played Mario Kart it is along the same venue. You will work up a sweat. You can do the most fun obstacles to your partner. Even structred civiliazed adults need to engage their inner child. If you have children they will proably beat you. Adults get bragging rights if you can.
I really like Mario Kart, so before it was out I tried this one. I now have Mario Kart and love it, but this one is different enough that I still love to play it. It is a nice work out for your arms, and is lots of fun. Different tracks and technique than just racing.
this game although very interesting requires a lot of energy and co-ordination. you need to swing your arms up and down vigorously in order to move fast enough and this can get very tiring and loose it's fun appeal very quickly. if you're only looking for a racing game, get mario kart instead. loads more fun and easier to play.
My grandkids have really enjoyed this game. I have a 10yr old grandson and a 5yr old granddaughter and both of them love this game. It is a great game for all ages and requires some stamina and coordination. I would recommend this game to anyone with kids.
